"Huggin' Funshine: 16 Golden Greats" is Larry Banilow's long-awaited greatest hits package. This retrospective includes all of Banilow's best-loved hit singles like "Love Waves Hello," "FunShine" and "HUG!" as well as lesser known gems like "Babylonia" and "Kiss The Girl," all digitally remastered for maximum Larry Banilow clarity and love!
"Huggin' Funshine" also unearths a couple of out-of-print tracks and outtakes.
If that weren't enough (and how could it NOT be, really?), Randy and The Captain have reunited to write and record a brand new Banilow track, the truly magical "A-E-I-LUV-U," which kicks off the album on a high that sustains to the end.
This is a wonderfully satisfying journey to the center of the psyches of Randy Bedfellow and Captain Sensitive.
A cd release, complete with extensive liner notes and rare photos, is planned, and a stage musical and a film adaptation of the story of Larry Banilow are being considered.
